+ Dara needs a tag please ♥

Sandara Park was dressed in simple Muggle clothes; an old pair of jeans, a brown t-shirt with the words "I Only Fight if Pillows are Present" in white print across the chest, and plain black tennis shoes with the laces untied. Her long hair was free and flipping about in the light breeze, her eyes closed as she enjoyed the cool air and the warm sun. Her arms above her head and the tips of her fingers about six yards above the ground of the Quidditch Pitch; her legs hooked over the steady stick of her broom, an unsettling sight for a passerby, but the teenager didn't seem to have a single worry about falling. In fact, she quite enjoyed having her world upside-down - it was good to look at things from a different perspective.

She had sent an owl earlier that day to one of her friends, insisting the two of them should hang out. It was unlikely he would show up since he always had his nose glued to his books, but she told him she would be out on the pitch for most of the day. If only he would set those nasty books aside and come out to enjoy what life was about.

"Shh," She brought a finger to her lips as if to quiet him down, "That's our little secret!" She joked with a grin and a wink. "What's that saying? All work and no play makes Shige a dull boy?" Dara waggled a finger at him, "At least you're playing that guitar still. Written any songs?...and I need notes for charms again?" Her voice turning into a nervous giggle; she always needed notes and was lucky Shige was usually willing to give them to her. She did try! Really! But she kept making guesses at how tall Professor Flitwick was, or just staring out the large window. She didn't have trouble with the actual process of charms, it was just remembering all the silly stuff for finals and tests.

"I knew there was another reason why you wanted me to come out here today!" Grinning at her and shook his head, chuckling softly. Shige had gotten used to this arrangement over the years, but he was more than happy to give her the help that she needed. "Alright our secret. I'll send them over as soon as I get back to the dorms. As for your other question though, the answer is sadly, no." He sighed. "I haven't written anything useful in a while now." He lifted a hand and ruffled the back of his hair.

"Not-uh!" She laughed, "I honestly forgot about it until you mentioned it just now." It was the truth, homework and almost everything school related had slipped her mind like it always does when she's up in the air. "I owe you like... thirty Butterbeers by now, huh?" She chuckled, weaving her broom from side to side since they were going fairly slow to what she was used to and liked.

"No inspiration?" As they went around the pitch, she tucked a strand of loose hair behind her ear.

He chuckled, believing what she said without a doubt. "Yeah, but it's okay." he shrugged, "I don't mind lending notes to you." He leaned back a little, finally used to being in the air again enough to relax and even accelerate a little.

"Not really." He sighed softly, looking up at the sky. "I've been too focused on school and the OWLS to find much inspiration."

She smiled at him - talk about someone who had enough patience and good-humor to put up with her random quirks. He had been one of the first people she had spoke to since coming to Hogwarts what felt like a lifetime ago, and it had taken a lot of courage that first time to ask if she could borrow his notes. "Thank you. You don't know how much it means to me." With that, she leaned forward on her broom and sped ahead.

"I wonder how much information you've crammed in that brain of yours," she spoke absentmindedly, briefly picturing a factory in Shige's head with words of books being torn from the pages and shoved into random compartments of the mechanism. "You need to take breaks more often. Explore the world a bit outside of those books."

He smiled, leaning forward to match her speed. He remembered the day well, she had just transferred to Hogwarts, and despite being a year ahead of him they had been in most of the same elective classes over the years.
"It really is nothing," he shook his head as he spoke, grinning a little."So, there's no need to thank me so much."

"Probably way more than the average 5th year," he answered, chuckling dryly. He'd always been good at absorbing information easily, no matter what the subject was. He was a bookworm, no doubt about it. "I know, I know. Life is too dull if you only live in the world of books."

Dara shook her head, a light smile on her lips and pieces of her dark hair falling out of the messy bun from the soft wind. "One of these days, I'm going to drag you out of your common room... maybe I'll pay one of your housemates to snatch you or something." She told him with a serious tone and expression, though her eyes glinted with laughter.

Shige had to chuckle softly at that. The serious expression and tone was not something he was used to getting from Dara. "You might have better luck if you were to drag me off when I'm in the middle of studying in the library." He joked lightly. "It's easier than trying to get into Ravenclaw Tower and cheaper than paying one of my hoursemates." He shrugged, then blinked, realizing he'd probably given her an idea that she'd no doubt act on when she felt the need to, and squeezed his eyes shut, silently cursing himself.

A smug smirk appeared on her face and she reached over with a hand, gently tapping his head with a 'babo'. She teased him in her native Korean too often, and even Tagalog - often time because the English word for the slang didn't usually sound right. "For a really smart guy, you can be kind of dumb." She leaned forward again, speeding up once more.

Shaking his head and sighing, he leaned forward to match her speed. Through the years he'd come to understand the meaning of the Korean words she'd use to tease him, often times retorting or teasing her with the Japanese equivalent. "Hai, baka desu," he cast his gaze to the ground for a moment. "What I need is more friends like you to distract me from my books from time to time... and more trips to Hogsmeade." Chuckling lightly he looked up at the sky for a moment.

She nodded understandingly, she often had trouble making friends too. The mix of shyness and her embarrassment of being raro - strange - held her back in social situations. Letting out a sigh, she let up on speeding ahead and held a steady speed. "Then lets go to go Hogsmeade soon, mm?...And be more willing to let me kidnap you. I bet you almost didn't come out today, am I right?..." She asked with an arched eyebrow and a playful smile.

Glancing over at her with a guilty smile, before turning his gaze back forward. "Guilty as charged. But.. I'll be more willing from now on, I promise," he nodded with a smile. "Besides, if I refused your kidnapping attempts then I'd never have any fun, right?" With that he flashed her a smile and a playful wink before leaning forward and speeding off, pushing his broom to go as fast as it can for a little while.
